After the huge success of Funkademia and the Northern funk Christmas Special, everyone felt it was time to dust down the old vinyl and go weekly!

There will be a new twist to N-Funk this time though. Breaking with our format of uniquely pre ’79 soulfunk we will be mixing in the contemporary new artists whose inspiration derives from original soul. Hence expect to hear a playlist which could feature Marvin Gaye mixed with Duffy mixed with Aretha mixed with Gnarls Barclay mixed with Herbie Hancock mixed with Stettsasonic mixed with Issac Hayes mixed with Amy Winehouse …….I’m sure you get the drift.
